Parade
June 28 (Thursday night of the second weekend of the event.) - Annual Fandangle parade at 6:00 p.m. downtown Albany.

Prior to the performances, The Prairie Star BBQ Brigade will be serving a chuck wagon meal on the 1st National Bank park lawn from 5:00-8:00 p.m.  Prices are $10.00 for adults and $6.50 for children under 10. (Prices are subject to change.) Stroll down to the park and enjoy the shade and the beautiful water fountain. Read the history on the metal plates around the fountain. Try the brisket, sausage or smoked chicken leg quarters with coleslaw, beans, okra gumbo and corn on the cob plus apple cobbler for dessert. You are ready for the oldest outdoor musical in Texas.

across from the Shackelford County Courthouse on the north side.
