Closing Night of the 79th Anniversary of the Fort Griffin Fandangle

  • Prairie Theater

Covered wagons and buggies, replica of the first Texas Central railroad train, galloping prairie fires, frontier town street, gushing oil derricks, more than 250 performers - the Fandangle recaptures with theatrical charm the look and feel of the Old West.

The Fandangle stagecoach rumbles behind its team across pasture land once passed by the Butterfield Overland Mail.  Cowboys whose ancestors pushed longhorn herds up the nearby Western Trail relive that period as they drive descendants of the cattle through the Fandangle spotlights.  It fuses past and present as ranch country heritage us unlocked from dusty trunk of memory, polished bright and transformed into enchanting entertainment.
